About the Event: Join NCWF Durham Wildlife Stewards Chapter and Falyn Owens, wildlife biologist with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, for a walk in Sandy Creek park. Together we will search for evidence of the beavers that live in the park’s wetlands. Falyn will tell the surprising and unique story of beavers in North Carolina, with a focus on their ingenious engineering! We’ll cover how beavers impact waterways, wildlife, and people through their industrious activities.
